i find the distortion in the bottle takes away from a nice concept. The relationship between the pears and the bottles shadow also doesn't sit right. I like the layout and texture though

I love the amount of DOF, not too much, not too little - expressive and not pretentios

I've written a couple other comments in your folder...I think the eyes are great too, and you're children seem wonderful. Do they poo roses? :) Just joking, anyways, I like the picture, but what was to the left and right? I wish there was a little bit more room in this picture, more whitespace would be nice...I think her eyes will still be strong enough

I'd get a safety deposit box at the bank and put a print of this in it. I wouldn't change a thing

wonderful...something a little strange about the bottom of his butt crack though...is it a shadow or due to jpeg compression?

I absolutely love 90% of this picture. It's the bottom 10% of the picture I think could be improved. Something about that rock outside of the toned area...how does it look if the entire ground was toned (just the very very bottom)? I'd love to know more about the post work done. I'll be checking out the rest of your portfolio :) Thanks for sharing this!

looks very un-natural to me (foreground to background)...beautiful area though

a little bit too comicbookish for what I'm feeling right now, but I think on another day I could easily like it a lot more...a little creepy, but I like it

Thanks for the critique Dominique! I think I like the door, but I can see your point. Also the picture you see on the top left, says "welcome" on it. It is very visible on the print, and I think it adds to the feeling of the image. I really wish I could give this image to her grandson (who was standing about 2 meters out of frame to the right) - he was so proud his grandmother was having her picture taken.
Thanks again...gu

i like it...thanks!

think it would look much nicer with corrected verticals

looks like a miniature in a studio...is it?
-
that is just hilarious

That is a beautiful scene, but it looks like the foreground was shot in front of a blue-screen and the background was added in digitally. Did you have to even out the line in the grad filter or something? Looks too artificial for my taste, but you may have been going for this look

The title is "It's not mine"? or it's not your picture! :)
I like the idea, but dont' like the lighting. The shadown on the egg and floor don't work for me, and the blown out highlight doesn't seem to serve a purpose. The cropped shadow on the left is also a bit strange.

Does anyone like the tree limb? I was thinking about cloning it out, but I like how it follows the curve of her face. Just me I guess :( :) Thanks for the comments so far!

Hello, I would like to hear your comments on this portrait. I'd
like to know how you feel about the shadows on her face and the
darkness of her eyes, and if you feel they take away from the
picture.

Hello, this is my first attempt at a portrait. It was taken with an
F717. I took it on the street while playing with her and her
friends. The background was busy, so I removed it altogether.
Converted to B&W in Photoshop and used Auto Levels. Your comments
are welcome

ughhhhh, artificial, beautiful landscape, ugly over saturated colors, nothign really to catch the eye, except the mysterious object in the foreground. I'm not trying to be a prick (comes naturally).
Cropping a picture doesn't make it a panorama, it just changes the aspect ratio similar to a panorama.
