At the summit of Bow Pass (6849 feet or 2088m) on the Icefields
Parkway is a path to the Peyto Lake overlook. This view is towards the
north and the Mistaya Valley. The color of the water makes it a unique
spot!

Last year I visited this beautiful lake in Iceland filled with many
strange iceberg. I thought it was a pity that it was cloudy day, but
when I saw the pictures the color from the iceberg seems to be
stronger through the dark sky.

It's a very interesting composition with nice colors. The only critique I can give is that you cropped it a little bit too tight, especially at the top and the left. But still well done!

Thanks for the compliment :) About your question I use different focus lenghts. It depends on how far the birds are away from me, but mostly I try to use 89mmm. When it is futher I will get some troubles with the amount of pixels. Then I have to do too much photoshopping ;) Greetings Wendy
