    a sense of wonder...

          86

The visual appearance commented by Stephen is right, but I recognize that I like it, the image with these halos has an estrange ambience, like magic… As always, all is referred about our tastes and our different aesthetic photographic vision all of it speaking about out of rules of course! .Speaking about your folder, I always found good taste and exquisite way to capture these little things, which details that in somehow escapes from our hands but you catch very well.
Looking at your work where we can find authentic jewels. My congratulations

I’m surprised that Canon haven’t this tool, Nikon has two different tools/ options very different between them.

    1) Can blend to exposures making some adjustments (EV) this tool can be useful to solve the high lights and the dark shadows in some circumstances, is like to make a HDR with only two images, you take an image for example applying -2 EV to solve the high lights and other Applying Ev 0 to solve the shadows, later on you blend these ones and you can make also a little EV correction maybe ± 2 separately.

The second, bring you the possibility to make multiple exposures 2,3,4,5… at the same capture likes the old analogical SLR had. About this technique, I compared both time ago about an image with PS software but is not exactly the same end result, via PS as you know you can change opacity and via camera don’t. With PS the image/s (layer/s) that you want can have more visibility, contrast etc… according your preferences. Speaking about the quality comparing both systems… I can’t tell you which are the best, if there is one?, But maybe via camera as a direct system the final result will be better…

    Gunnar,

Yesterday when i have been processed this image (Raw), I adjusted the contrast and the saturation according my preferences, later on in (Tif ) via Bridge the image looks more saturated, but looking at via Photoshop the saturation was lees that the previous appearance in bridge I don't understand why...In some  images I observed this phenomenon. Now, I'm not sure which is the real green tone in the Grass. In this image, overall I like the infinite grass branches going in all directions making a mesh.

    Dror,

You are right!, in that occasion I only need to take three images to give the motion that I found, not more, not less.I taked two more like this but with theses little flowers in other positions and other more making via  multiple exposure (2 images at same time)

    Many thanks and Best regards

  1. The composition is very accurate, excellent frame, good texture and the most important your perception sense four aspects that this kind of photography needs,in my opinion of course.Best regards

I like it too, the yellow back of chicken looks like a waves in a sea.Wonderful color's mixture ...It's perfect to hang in a wall, the best  paper option in my opinion will be to do a print in Hahnemuehle  type William Turner,it's a paper that the texture remind me of the appearance of a watercolor on a paper. All the best

It's a good instantaneous image, but in my opinion the letters at the background disturb me a little ;stolen a bit of protagonism about the portrait, with less depth of field I think that the image works better.Best regards

Dror, I think that our interpretation arround several things as tone, saturation etc.. Can change a long the time from the moment that we see the image across the camera display untill a post-edition and even across the years, now maybe you aren't satisfy with this colors and it gamut or other parameters, but  maybe the next year can be appealing for you. To me nowadays is difficult to know yet if the parameters that I  had manipulated are the correct one, because all it depends of our mood,I think that in photography the psychological weight is relevant. Have a nice weekend!

I like very much, mainly and of course, joint the motion ( speed) this touch colour at the upper area of the frame, the colour mixture is beautiful. My congrats, it's really really nice.,I supose and suspect that you are very proud with these last results. Warm regards

The scene captured is great, I imagine, that you waited until the man arrives just under the advertising image to provide the neccessary link .I like the low and powerful perspective that adds might to the "Director"  that looks like to objurgate the guy,the only point that in my oppinion could be fixed is the first building burned by it left side.Best regards

The fact that this image is burned (background) don't disturb me; is more, I suspect, that with this way of post processing  you only want and find to get a better result in some details. In this case, is fantastic the texture/ details that has this first flower, the semi translucent appearance of the petals provokes that we can see the texture. The other tulips "dancing" behind the "star" fill the empty space very well.Anyway beautiful job.

In fact, I think that we are or try to be an artists not craftsman,by this way every day I'm giving more value to the photographers that want and try to test ,experimenting etc... with a several things, don't worried if the image is out of the rules, burned in some areas etc...Althought,maybe there is a genre ( architecture) where the creative margin is very narrow, the fact to need to show with  precision a building is a fact, other thing is when an architectural photographer wants that kind of image abstract like James Kazan usually taken and likes.Sorry for this long text. Best regards

A lot of job I can see in this chapter Dror... I like it of course why, because mainly is different, these flowers with it leaves with this white background and this vignette effect working fantastic, althought the position of flowers in the frame and also the horizontal frame looks different,I mean, don´t know, but the appearance is a bit extrange, isn´t it.Best wishes
