  1. I think the lack of perspective could be replaced by lack of reference, but who cares, you titled this "Green Angels in the Sky," I take this to mean an aerial only photo (Angels & Sky), if you wanted the ground in it, the title would be different and give the viewer different hints. This photo gives a sense of weightlessness (Spelling?) and I think it's great, kind of a 60/70s granularity. Good Endorsement from another serviceman and a line officer. 6/6

I think the lighting and composition is great, but it looks like there is some detail lost from the eyes, also would the thumb being in have been better, not sure 1/2 which way the other and so on. Overall very, very nicely done, you know you have a keeper! 6/7

Having been in one before, the keel blocks are below the center of the bow on the forward most part center photo (wood usually) the 3 holes on either side are commonly callled "Bow Thrusters" and provide side to side (lateral as Juha mentioned) movement. Only large ships, which have maneuverability issues will be fitted with bow thrusters as it will assist them in turning in constrained locations with/without the help of tugs, tankers, super tankers, car carriers, large ferries, etc. Lastly, this is a floating dry dock, so the ship that pays for one of these is paying a lot and typically very large, as you can see from the size of the people in the photo.
