    Nowhere to Go But Up

          14

Except for the car in the foreground and the sewer on the left, it would have looked like a top angle of a man sleeping on the ground next to his panel. Actually this is how I saw it in the thumbnail. But it is not and still a great perspective. I love the space you gave to the foreground.

  1. I like the composition and the relatively slow shutter speed choice. For me, the sharpness (in focus) of the metal bars in the foreground is distracting. I wish if they were as blurry as the background. Nice shot.

The most thing I like here is the dispersion. The car in the background helped breaking the lady's reflection. The calligraphy on the book fits very well in the photo. Very good shot.

  2. At ISO 2000, this is really impressive result. By the way, thanks in general for mentioning the technical details of most of your work. There is a lot to learn from you, and by this you make it possible.

That wire in the middle that doesn't exist, IS AWESOME. You really brought beauty to one of the ugliest things I see everywhere I go. Thanks.

I love this shot. Perfect black and white and composition. My least favorite thing is the shallow depth of field. I hope it had a little bit of background in focus. But still, it is a brilliant shot.

  3. This is phenomenal. I love the angle and the tones. very warm. I like the palm tree in the foreground. Its darkness takes the photo away from the postcard look. The lit parts on the top of the building emphasizes the warmth. The sky is unbelievable and needs a lot of explanation, if you don't mind.

Great angle and perfect tones.I like where the cloud begins in the composition. I only wish if the foreground was sharp. Overall, the industrial collection is really powerful. It reminded me of a Chinese film called "24 City" by Jia Zhangke that has great cinematography. Keep on the good work.

Great work. The least thing I like here is the black borders, although I like the one you added to the bottom. Again powerful work and very refreshing.

  4. I have two comments that honestly did not affect my admiration for this lovely shot, the foreground plants are a little bit distracting, and the intersection of the shadow and the stand breaks the fluidity in the composition a little. Just little. I love the sharp light and the wonderful grids of the water on the sand. The two bodies draw delicate motions. I also love the small thing in the left corner :-)

    Great shot.

I like the ceiling. It makes with the four sides a composition that looks like a viewfinder for me. I think cropping it will make it more like a postcard. I love the colors.
