From Amazon, you will get jammed by "International Freight" charges, and Canada Customs.
It's not like an ebay transaction, where you (typically) pay actual insured freight, and customs will normally turn a blind eye to low value (<700 CAD) shipments.

Camera Canada has the kit (7D, 2500 Flash, VC-7D) for $1,699.00 CAD!!!
Damn, on Wednesday 08/31 the 7D body only was $1,840.75 at Camera Canada. Now its only $1500.
Makes it REALLY difficult to justify waiting for the 5D @~$1200 body only.

Have you done a Google search on "Aden Camera complaints"?
It's not a pretty sight.
I would never deal with such a vendor, but it's your choice.

TigerDirect.ca has them for $1,619.00 CAD
Their store is in Markham, ON.
Decent pricing on a SanDisk Ultra II, 1Gb CF.
Have Fun!
Canadians covered under US warranty?
in Sony/Minolta

K-M's departure from the Canadian market is unfortunate, but all they were providing in Canada was Warranty for products they had not marketed effectively (in Canada) for 15 years.
I expect Phototrader will take up Distribution, Warranty and Service. If they do, the 5D's a no brainer for me. Just got get the WAF (wife acceptance factor) up a couple of notches.
I am certain that any product bought in the US would only be warranted in the US. However, if you are close to the border, buy in the US and send it (if nescesscary) to Minolta USA for warranty/service. Too easy.
