The Nikon AR-1 (with/without removing the colar around the camera'shutter release) won't thread
down enough in order to make contact with the shutter release. The similar looking "brand X" types I
have seen on several auction sites look similar to the Nikon.
Any correct models out there for the IIIG ? Thanks.

Jeff, give Ken my best.
-
Jeff,
Ken Hansen works out of his private Manhattan residence: no store, no website, no bull...
Which translates into lower overhead... and lower prices. For the cleanest used Leicas/
lenses and 2 1/4 equipment. And as I have learned over the 20 years I have been buying
from him, you can take his word to the bank.
-
Have been buying from Ken for more than 20 years. Still the best.

In New York City, when it comes to used Leicas, what Ken Hansen has "forgotten" -
Adorama and B&H have not learned. Not only his used Leicas are the cleanest, they are
usually cheaper. And you can take his word to the bank. I have been buying from him for
over 20 years.

Thank you; you have all been great.
Besides individual body fit, any issues while loading/winding film? Thank you again.
-
I would appreciate comments from actual users of the screw mount version - NOT the M version. Thank
you.

Thank you Thomas T. Thank you Al Kaplan. Thank you all. Case closed.

While I thank you all, any words of wisdom from anybody else - and Al Kaplan ?

As some of you know, it is a real pain finding the Canon made hoods for their LTM 50 /1.8 and 100/
3.5. I don't want to pay $30 for Cameraquest's version; does anyone have any experience tweaking the
available generic 39 or 40.5 mm versions to fit the 40mm thread without damaging the filter thread ?
Thanks

The one on ebay is gone (besides a bit to high for me). Would appreciate hearing from
someone who has one for sale. I have a soft spot for Canon lenses.
Again, thank you for all your valuable comments.
-
Any user comments on the Canon 19/3.5 in the LTM rangefinder version, NOT the retrofocus version
for the Canon SLR ? Thanks.
-
Thank you Dan.

I need help/instructions for both the horizontal and vertical alignment.
Thank you all.

Grazie, Vincenzo..
Still looking fo a smaller reversible rubber lens hood suggestion which would take less
storage space.
-
Thanks Tom.
Just in case, I want to be clear I'm speaking of the 90mm frame -not the 50- on both
cameras and at the 1 meter setting.
Any suggestions on smaller and reversible rubber hoods?
-
Will it block the 90mm frame - WITH FOCUS AT THE CLOSEST POINT ?
-
Considering buying one. With supplied hood, will it block the 90 mm frame?
Is there a smaller and reversible rubber alternative; Brand ?
Thanks.

Lens hood sold.
-
For Sale: Canon made hood originally designed for early 55mm Canonet model.
Clamp on design - slips and locks perfectlty over lens with the added advantages of more compact and
ergonomics, like a factory cut out notch allowing lens to be stored (not carried) with hood reversed
fitting perfectly over the infinity lock.
It worked beautifully on my now long departed 50mm 1.2. A more efficient and definitly more
economical alternative to the overpriced original hood.
In excellent condition with minor marks around the outer barrel where it clamps over the lens.
$21 including first class shipping within the US. Accept Postal money order or Pay Pal. Personal checks
will have to clear first.

Vivek, I have a screw mount Canon 25mm 3.5 complete with viewfinder and cases in great
condition. Feel free to contact me.
-
Addendum:No Domke Gripper.
Looking for similar design or original with leathe and hooks in good shape.
-
Besides do it yourself jobs, where can I buy them - or similar - ready made ?

Dan Chang, who painted your Leicas ?
