Hello,
Sounds like the old "blinking green light of death" (bglod).Nikon fixes it for free. I got mine done earlier this year. They do it pretty fast too. Follow the link in the following FAQ:

This made me look it up on http://www.archive.org and I hope you can get the search results at
http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.photo.net . It tells some of the story atleast.

I second the suggestion of a D70. I do not know Phil's photography skills (being lazy, I didnot look up your photos, if any) or interests but D70 or even a D50 would do well for an intro DSLR. Unless you have specific uses that require the upgrades in a D80, you can save more money for good lenses (those things last longer than the DSLR bodies) by doing with a used D70 or a used D50. Or even brand new ones.

Hi David,
Nice photos but hard to view! I do not know if this was your intention but for me,I got to frames/drawings in intro page, when I clicked on that. I ended up with a blank white page that said "art" with small fonts on the top, and somewhere on thebottom left, off my browser almost (and non-scrollable),I saw parts of a blue text. clicking on that led me to a horizontally scrolling page of many photos. The photos are nice, you certainly have a good idea for this stuff but please do something about your web-site.
My feeling(I could have debugged this but I do not have time right now) is that your site is done to work for particular browsers (IE?) with particular screen size with fixed size objects.

Sony w50 (and I assume the whole series from w30-100)has the same mode too.

Hi! Thanks for generous comments and the sample photo from both of you. It is helpful for me. Despite what I put on my gallery, my background is more of macro photography. Street is new.

Hello again,
It is not really take II, I did not go another festival, but I did concentrate
on faces and action and cropped a bit.

well, does anyone use it? I am now inclined to go either W50 or W100. The latter because it allows more manual control but there is the price difference and the former allows the extensions which just exists to make me happier without ever buying them.
