If this is a real puff of smoke unmanipulated then it is absolute magic and I can't imagine how you caught such an amazing shot BUT I have held off giving it 7/7 because I suspect it is a created post shooting. Please tell us - I admire your creativity in any case.!

Might go back here when there's a full moon. What do you think ?

Thanks Mark, Not sure which "kid" you mean ? the boy at the foot of the woman standing is right next to her and might look odd if blurred so you must mean the girls head in the foreground, will do.

A thrilling moment...

In comparison to previous photo this ringtailed possum seems to have
died from natural causes ? Came across him at the foot of a very high
steep cliff and assume he may have missed a branch when flying
throught the trees.

I know you have answered questions about editing but I think the eyes have been edited just slightly beyond belief. The whites are just too white via cloning/dodging and the whites seem to extend unnaturally into the outer corner of each eye. Would I be wrong ? A powerful shot even with such editing, just not realistic.

Great shot, good capture. I wonder if it might have more impact if you cropped to exclude everything above the red beam holding the wheels ?

I took dozens of pics of these great red lanterns blowing in the wind
under the mauve foliage and just caught this girl gazing by chance.

I have shots of the same scene where the clock lines up with the
middle of the central post. I chose this one to give emphasis to the
guy in the tunnel.

A junk shop...for your critique

I don't normally like composites but this is exceptionally well done.

I know many will disagree but I am just looking for some sign of life in this shot to give a sense of time, maybe just a cat, a bird or someone in a doorway. Not saying this is a fault because this is truly a fantastic photo.

A project of the "Art & About" Sydney Festival - Comments welcome...

I thought the tables presented an interesting pattern, especially
without patrons, then by chance the restaurant worker walked past,
adding a sense of real-time to this shot.

Fantastic mood created by this amazing light behind the tree. I wonder if it could have been better shot vertically to just include the two trees with the house to the left and more tree shadow? Where are your other shots, I'm sure there must be more as good as this. Great self-portrait too :-)

Great subject, excellent composition but I would have liked the spikes of head feathers with greater sharpness / perhaps camera shake ? plus the background is a little too obviously blurred, could have been more subtle.

On the day that News Media has announced Pigeons discovered at
Melbourne Australia with antibodies to the H5N1 deadly bird flue it
seems appropriate to upload this photo taken one week ago in Hyde
Park Sydney. One wonders of these too may be infected or have at
least come into contact with infected birds elsewhere and developed
antibodies etc etc. Anyway, as a photo it is just interesting to
notice such pattern in a seemingly chaotic dash for free feed,
apologies to all pigeon lovers.

Comments welcome, thanks.

Despite being asked not to photograph the photographs in the Art
gallery I decided this might not be breaking the rules (too much).

Returned to this place several times before the light was right for
this angle. Your comments and/or ratings are very much appreciated.
Thanks...
