Certainly an original shot. I think i like the way you've weighted it because it sets the focus and the action lower in the frame instead of the middle.

Nice shot...

There was indeed flare already on the top of the lens from the initial flash of the shot. The photoshop lens flare has done no more damage than that which was already there, but added some depth and colour.

Tragically short-sighted, Trevor, the Kodak camera just couldn't

focus...

 

If you haven't seen my portfolio yet, then I probably haven't seen

I feel that this is a very honest representation of the flower...

Nice photo. I like the off centre lines dragging the eye in toward the lone wanderer... perhaps see what a little red in the yellower areas can do? I love the feeling of cold desolation this brings. Great shot!

I didn't like this shot as a thumbnail and was going to politely brush past it, but upon veiwing it larger found a character that gave me a little chuckle.

In my vastly FINITE wisdom I might recommend adding a little contrast and a touch of yellow to warm it up...then again I might not.
