Hi, yes your right. I think this has been caused by the Polarized filter I used....which I have now thrown in the bin. Thanks for your comments on this an other photos.

a reworked image in the rule of thirds

I love the combination of the red against black, and the skin colouring/tones. Great impact. Honestly though, I think it would look better with the reflection starting lower down at the elbow of the subject, not at the wrist. You would probably end up also having to make the image of the lady smaller to fit better in the frame, probably resulting in more of a landscape layout.
