Spotted this scene in southern California. "Lord of the ring" came to
my mind immediately. Thank you for your comments! Regards, Igor.

Sean, as you may assume it depends on the image. Some images do require a lot of work some images don't. My typical workflow is: I process the RAW digital image in Adobe Lightroom. The BW conversion is done there too. After that the image is exported in Photoshop. In Photoshop I work mostly with dodge and burn tools, curves, and masking. Basically this is painting with digital brushes and the most creative process for me. I'm not using any special filters that would turn images in the final result. Thank you for your comment. Regards, Igor.

I like the idea. The composition is ok too. The black inner surface of the mug is distracting. It is darker than other elements of the scene.

Well executed black and white portrait. A slight crop of the bottom should improve the composition. Regards, Igor.

The original image was taken in raw format with Canon 1ds II. It was processed in Adobe Lightroom where with the help of curves I was able to achieve a basic look. Rest of the work is done in Photoshop. I used mainly brushes for dodging and burning. With a soft brush, painted on the new layer, I was able to enhance the fog that was there but started to diminish, final toning is done with a curve. To summarize: burning and dodging is my main technique to achive 3D-like look. Thanks for your comment. Igor.

Maria, this work looks like a painting of the old masters. The color pallette is right on. The composition is very good and dynamic. The only thing is a little distracting for me is the part of the sun glow on the right. Yes, it shows where the light comes from but I would like to see it a little less obvious. Regards, Igor.

A simple resentation and with a clear conception. When I looked at the thumbnail I was thinking about left side distraction. But then I realized it is a part of the harvest conception. It shows part of the field that has been processed. My only suggestion is to control the sharpness. Regards, Igor.
