1.
Thank You Phil! Very cool web site! Of course I had to run some pictures through it. Trusting the website, my D600 had 15 shots/actuations on it from the factory before my first picture. During the repair visit, 1198 additional shots accumulated. Lots of testing?? Maybe.......... ? Had to test one of the last pictures from my old D70s which I re-gifted to my wife's niece. And it had only 6546 clicks, fewer than I had guessed. Fun stuff for me to know. Thanks to all again! Dale

 2.
Shun, Not at all. I love that you're utterly candid and exceptionally well informed. I have no knowledge of some of the details of your last paragraph, but as an explanation to whisk away my concerns, it was great! Thanks Again, Dale

 3.
Thank you all for your prompt responses. So moving on, I shall henceforth un-fixate, take comfort that I am not alone in this small issue, be please that it's not working any worse, and know, that if I would part ways with it, I have a paper/email/blog/snip trail. Thank You. Dale

 4.
Has this happened to someone else? I'm a bit slow, but finally noticed that my D600, which I sent for shutter repair/replace has apparently seen some extra duty. And of course, if someone can tell me what I may have done myself to cause this, I'm all ears, thank you. Sent my D600 in in March to Nikon and it was returned in April, a 2 to 3 weeks turnaround, roughly. My photo count was 2196 when it went in and 8500 upon return? I am trying to insert two pics from Flickr. As part of the process they did upgrade my program version from 1.0 to 1.1. And the camera body serial number matches. But I did lose, apparently, 6304 actuations. If someone has any ideas, please advise. Thanks in advance. Dale.
