Hope you had a nice stay in the UK.

yea, two white socks would have diverted you gaze even better...:)
Its an excellent shot nevertheless.

it is very good, the clouds in the water look great.

looks like somewhere I would like to visit. You photo would look better in better light but its good enough for me to think, where is it, I would like to visit that place. You have something very well.

Nice shot! very bold! But you knew that!

i don't normally rate or comment on nature shots or macro as I do not know much about them. I would like to take more nature shots but my 70-300mm seem inadaquate when I have tried to use it and I do not like the idea of going to a zoo. Anyway the reason I comment is that after view 20 or 30 shots tonight that realy stands out as an excellent photo, whatever the technical details. Fine work!

a very nice shot, love the light and still water.
Is the horizon slightly out? Or is it me?

Oh and by the way nice photo, where did you shot this from?

This is essentially an apartment block which includes the 280-room Royal Horseguards Hotel, part of the Thistle Hotel chain. The architects were Archer and Green 1885 to 1893. Whitehall Court is on Crown Land and, until the 1880s, it lay at the heart of a venerable muddle of properties between Whitehall, Scotland Yard and the Thames.
The present building is in the French Renaissance style. Among its more famous residents were Charlotte and Bernard Shaw and formaly SIS (MI6) the UK's version of the CIA.
Its nice inside too but certainly not cheap.

Thanks for your comments, I am no expert either but in photography, everybody can have an opinion. No matter how much you know about the technical details, at then end of the day it just a matter of personal taste. It is easy to get tied up in lots of technical stuff, which is very interesting but we are all trying to show the world and "better" light.
