This is the closest the firemen could get to fire for fear of more

explosions.

The driver was ou tof the truck and ran when the explosion hit. He was ok.

If I had gone in any direction the trees would have blocked my shot.

In do have pictures of the fire being extinguished however the firemen had to pump water from a ladder truck over the top of a bridge about 300 ft away. As you can see from the photo's the actual tank did not blow up yet.

Tanker truck explosion. I was on the scene before the police and

fire dept. Please critique on composition and lighting.

Any comments please. It was such a rush being on the scene before

the police and firemen. This is a shot I took in addition to the

actual Tanker truck explosion.

Tanker truck explosion, Covington Ky 05/31/06. I just happened to

have my camera with me standing 1000 feet away before the police and

fire dept showed up. Just wondering if i'm on the right track?
