I've had a problem with Transcend 2 Gig 80X card and my new D200.
Has anyone else had problems with Transcend cards? I've used them in
all my other Nikons D70, D2h etc and no problems.
I returned the card and they sent a new one, but I'm not sure I want
to use it. I got burned and lost some pics on a photo shoot with
the last one and no it was a counterfeit one...

Rebuild the cache, under tools cache in the bridge.
Do you have your cache distributed? If not and you
move any folders in the windows browser you will
loose the cache, but you always rebuild it, just a pain.
Tip; all ways use bridge to manage folders, ie copy
move, delete. PS ill all ways keep the cache files
in the correct dir.

I own a D70s and a D2H, Yes I love the D2H for the high speed mode,
at 8 fps it doesn't miss a shot like the D70s which is still fast
put when shooting moving objects I all way use the D2h.
I use the D70s for landscapes and snap shots it has a different
image quality and is a great backup camera.
I hope to trade the D70s for a D200 in December.
Keep shooting

Hey, I can't thank you enough for this post...
I like HIGH PASS :)
anyway, I was using a freebee called SharpControl 1.1 by Vtie..
Its great but is outside of PS which is a pain on my workflow,
so I had been using USM and Smart with mixed results...
But thanks again..

Mark;
Nikon is awear of this problem, and there's a new part that's being used in the D2Hs. It's usually is replaced for free. I've heard of a lot of out of warrenty repairs being made by Nikon on D2H'es. I've got a D2H refurbushed and have not had any problems.

Good Point, but I've never had a card go bad in 5 yrs.
Some folks might think it's a compatibility issue.
Maybe its not 80X? i'll check out robgalbraith, he got a lot of
card data.
