1. I do not know if this is possible (or interesting to others than me),

but I would like to see the PN community to criticise and rate some

classical photos. For example, I would be interested to assist the

discussion around some photos of Cartier-Bresson for example.
I repeat, I do not know if this is possible or even interesting but I

would like to know the opinion of the community.

  2. This are some pictures send to me by a friend of mine about a statue near Evora, Portugal.
Do I like it? No I do not!
Should it removed? Of course not!
Sometimes we do not have the tolerance that we claim that others should have. Think about the reaction against the cartoons of Muhammad. The funny thing is that besides all the reaction I think that the nudity photos are the most rated in photo.net. This certainly means something.
00FU75-28536984.thumb.jpg.7ba6307fa75c4017cb9eac2d4e900606.jpg

  3. Not really an answer. It is just a question. Imagine this situation. You get a picture of somebody in the street. That person does not notice it. You decide to publish the photo in photo.net or in a book or else. Do this person has the right to claim the ownership of the photo because he is the main subject on it? And about children, do their parents have the right to do not allow people taking photos of their children, even in a public place like a park?
  4.
Hello! I have a 350D body with the common 18-55mm lense and an

all-round EF 28-135mm IS USM. My doubts are about getting the Sigma

    12-24mm f/4,5-5,6 DG EX.

My first doubt is about how good it is. I always heard that

third-party lenses are not so good as a genuine Canon lense. Can you

recomend a similar lense from Canon?

Second is about compatibilty. Someday (not in a near future) I will

pretend to upgrade my body to a full size sensor. I notice that in the

past there were some problems of campatibility with old lenses of

Sigma with newer bodies of Canon. Is this problem real? Thanks in

    advance, Gon硬o.

  5.
I have a 350D with the BG-E3 hand grip. It is my first camera (digital or analogic) and I am very happy with it. With the hand grip it is easier to work with it.

One thing you will notice very fast is that the 18-55 lense has some limitations that can be overcome with your 28-105 lense. Please note that I never tryed the 20D, but for my level of expertise I prefered a cheaper camera and keep the money to buy some extras like a tripod and several memory cards. I hope that my comment help you.
