Hi,
I was wondering if any one has had experiences of driving from Stavanger To Bergen.
I was looking at travelling the E39 with a car and Caravan in July and want to
know if is this feasible and what the ferrys are like in regard to taking a
caravan on them and the rough prices involved.
Thanks

Is it possible to include a function to seee where you or a photo is rated?
Eg what possition a photo is in one of the cats. eg photo rating by xxxxxxx
or where a person is in Photo averages etc.

The package lens is a realitivly inexpensive one but does a fairly good job and in most subjects you will not notice any difference between it and a more expensive counterpart.
You get what you pay for, you are not getting an IS or L range lense in the bundle

Take Care
There is a Sensor Clean option on the advanced menu ( to access this put the camera into an advanced mode (eg TV) this locks the mirror in the UP position exposing the sensor, i find it best to use something like a Rocket blower (Do Not Use compressed air)and if that doesn't work a very soft swab. The last thing you want to do is scratch the sensor.
I have a 20D and on average find that i need too clean the sensor every couple of months.
Dust is dust and it will get in
Hope this helps

Hi Todd, as you are renting a lens try and go for one with a decent app. as you will find that the subjects will be in motion and a good appateur will help.
Also what camera are you intending to use it on, if digital remember the lens multiplication.
You should also look what ISO you will be using to get the best from fast shooting.
A monopod would be of great use and dependant on the lens (eg a Canon IS)there may be a lens mount

With the specs. of the 20/30D being so close, why the need to upgrade, the same person behind either camera is going to take the same pictures?
Practice & patience the only upgrade between these two !

I know it is hard but there may be the rare person who could be of help, by forcing a comment to be entered it may provoke the odd thought as to why!! am i rating this the way i am.

Why not put in a manditory comment box if someone is voting with a 1
or 2, it gives people a chance to see where they are going wrong or
what they could improve. a vote of 1 or 2 with no explinaton does not
help anyone.

I think a B&W category would be good and benificial, why not remove the the disused "unclassifed" one?
Even with digital cameras B&W shots can be effective, i have a few in my portfolio.
B&W can express qulities that are lost with colour

Why not just do away with the Anon. voting, if you are giving a mark to a photograph then put your name to it.
If a photo doesn't appeal to you say why? It's not hard to do.
I have found, although fairly net to Photo.net that very few are inclined to comment either good or bad, may be this will increase if Anon. ratings were removed.

Hi Katha,
Having never felt the urge to go and buy a camcorder, (for which i know i would never have the time to watch everthing over again) I have been thankful for the video mode on my Fuji 602Z.
To caputre special moments with my children is priceless.
No I would still never watch a full length feature video but having a small clip (normally under 2 mins)I find it great.
But as for anything serious with it ...... forget it, but fot the memories stored on my PC........Priceless
It's what you use of a feature that makes it worth it (but it's only you that choose to do so)
