Thanks for your comment. I didn't really even look at the settings, it was just on automatic. You see, I had just woken up, saw this sky from my window on my way to the bathroom, so I grabbed my camera and took a few shots,... through the kitchen window.

Two identical sunrises?

Two sunrises, each taken on a Sunday morning. One of last week, one of just now. I have never seen two sunrises look so identical,... on the same day, only one week apart. what are the chances of that hapenning?

Shot a few days ago down by the lake, a few hundred meters from where I live.

It was very very cold here this morning in Finland. -27. I took this

picture in Tampere, next to the Tammerkoski Rapids. Because the water

was warmer than -27, it created this nice 'fog'.

Taken only an hour ago here at dawn in Southern Finland. Some snow has

fallen, but temperatures will be above 0 today and the rest of the

weekend, so all the ice will melt before Christmas I'm afraid...

Taken a few days ago around 9:30AM when the sun just came up here in

Southern Finland. It was a calm morning.

Okay, it is a simple picture, but the colors were so nice, that I

didn't want to mess it up by adding huge things in the foreground.

Hi, I really like this picture, but like it has been said before, it looks a bit unnatural, with the lighter parts around the tower. It seems to me like you took two photos with different exposures and made them into one. You know, copy and paste...

If you would Photoshop it a bit more and make it darker on the sides of the tower so you don't see the blend, it will look a lot better already. I would also make the foreground a little bit darker, it seems too light now.

But I really like the composition and the colors in the sky are just amazing! Well done!

Thanks for your comment. Yes, the sun sets at 15:00. And it comes up at 9:30. So not much light. In fact, it stays a bit vague all day. And I'm not even living in the North of Finland, cause there it stays dusk/dawn all day. And in Lapland, the sun doesn't even come up at all!
