I think this is absolutly wonderful. I really like it. For some reason, one gets a lot of comment in this forum when one modifies the captured image to their own artistic style. I don't know why. This isn't a forensics class.
I have to try this. Would you mind sharing your technique?

The colors of this image just jump out from the others in the forum. I knew it had to be film, but I was thinking Velvia. The greens are incredible.

This is really nice. Good work on the background too.

Very nice scene. Calming and serene.

I don't know what it is, but something about this shot grabs you. Maybe it's the string green with the brown leaves.

What a beautiful picture. You have a great portfolio. Vivid use of color. I love it.

Thank you for your kind comments Afshin.

Nice work on the lighting and taking the background into the shadows completely.

Very subtle beauty. I like it. The red really does contrast strongly with the green foilage background, but it adds tone to her body. Nice.

Got any room for me?

Of all the shots of this little guy, I thought this one captured his
feelings the best on that day!

We have lots of geese on our pond in the fall, but trying to capture
them on film can be quite difficult. This shot felt the motion of the
landing.

Perfect pose and I love the composition. Very nice lighting. Well done.

This portrait is stunningly beautiful. Wonderful black background. You didn't lose the edge of the dress. Great work.

Richard,
Where did you take this shot from? I'm a Michigan native. It looks so cool coming toward you. I really like it.

Wow, really nice shot. Good capture of the light. It stands out among the many landscapes.

I think it's one of the cutest pictures i've ever seen. I don't even notice the background.

I know, the very top is a little blown out, but I couldn't save it.
Still, I like the way the falls drop on the surrounding rocks. I
opened up the shadows just a touch.

How can you be going wrong if you're just starting out? Nice framing but here are a few suggestions. Croop off the legs just before the elbows. It will focus more on the eyes. Always get the eyes sharp and clear. Nothing else matters. And yes, probably shift the photo to the left a bit to include her shoulder. The posture and the angle of her head is done well.
