  1. Hey folks,

You may have seen my last post about what you all think is the best

photo printer company out there for digital... Got a more important

    question though..

I do alot of work with a Basset Hound rescue here, including built

their whole web site (all coding, gfx, etc).. Anyway, to make a long

story short, we've kicked around the idea of having calendars printed

that we can sell to raise money..

Now, this is where I want to hear what you all have to say... Do you

know any good, inexpensive places to have calendars printed?

I'd like a 12 month spread, flip page, with thick glossy cover stock.

Another reason for me buying myself a new camera was to do this..

If you have any ideas on who would be the best "cheap" place in the US

to get it done with fair quality please let me know. Would also like a

low, to no minimum order to save on start costs.

    Thanks! :)

  2. A&I and WHCC sound like a step in the right direction.. I'm not looking for cheap, already have a source for that.. I'm looking for quality.. Also if they do any special printing, say, on canvas or large format..

As for WalMart, I did a test print of the same photo with them (online) and Winkflash.. Winkflash came out ahead by a bit but they were both on the same lines..

So, with price not the major issue, any other opinions? :)

  3. Ok, I've got to hear what you all have to say on this. Granted in all

respects I'm just starting out in SLR photograpy. My last camera, a

Mavica CD1000 was great, but not an SLR. So.. Forgive me if I'm a

little green around the edges.. ;)

Anyway, I want to know who you think the best digital processor

company is and why. Currently I go through Winflash (don't laugh,

they're decent and cheap) but am looking to step up the bar more.

My current camera is an EOS Digital Rebel XT w/ 2 Sigma lenses. I

figure it would be suited for large prints as well, beyond 8x10. At

any rate, what are your thoughts?

P.S. I live in the US, so it'd be nice to not ship over seas to get

    photos printed.. ;)
