  1. Brad this is the same shot I came up with the first time I went there. You need to start shooting as the sun first hits the canyon. If you wait to long you will have to much contrast.I also used a grad filter on the sky.

  2. Thanks for the comments. Annie I took this at about 10 o'clock which is considered late for most landscapes.To get this shot you must wait for the sun to get pretty high in the sky and pray for no wind.

    This is a very good composition. Shooting water is best done on overcast days (high white clouds are the best) or before and after sunrise/sunset. You might want to get a polarizer filter. It will remove reflections from the rocks and also allow you to shoot at a slower shutter speed.

    I have seen this done with flower shots alot but not with landscapes.

    I have now sold at least one of every image on here. Now I will see

    how they do as a group.
