    Hi Jeff,

    many thanks for your invitation.

    I looked through your portfolio - and I did it with a lot of enjoyment. Even quite ordinary things look different through your eyes, you reduce complex structures and textures to the minimum. I esteem that very much because I know how difficult it is.

    And so my favorite of your photographs is this vertical triangel (?) piece of ice with the enclosed structures. A fantastic idea and a great rendition. What is there behind?What is the scale? Why is it upstanding? The questions remain unanswered and so the image remains a strange and mystical work of art.

    A very interesting photo. I love the contrast between warm sunlight on the left mountainside and the cold overall atmosphere. The white crestwaves add some more coldness.
