Reminds me of all the women and children killed by suicide bombers and other international terrorists in Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Syria, Lebanon, India, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Spain, Malaysia, Indonesia, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Israel, Kenya, the Philippines, as well as the ones killed on 9/11, in the U.S.
It's a reminder.

The ambiguity is interesting. Difficult to know how to judge this without knowing if the dolphins (porpoises) are actually in an aquaarium or part of a painting. That difficulty itself is a kind of philosophical problem. -
The achievmement of balance is what intrigues me the most about this picture - the heavy gray in the upper left third of the picture with the big barn on the right. Also interesting is the angle, how it captures the big barn in two dimensions and the other structures in three. Of course the atmosphere and toning are great.
