Use the flash as a fill light with the ambient lights. You will get good results. Keep the WB in Auto.

You said " The light conditions were vastly different from one section to the other. As usual I started snapping the cars with auto WB. But the colors are way off." You have to Color Correct each shot individually if the color temperatures are different or you have to use a grey card first in each type of lighting.

Wide angle lenses have large depth of field. f.8 is good enough for a group shot. Try to use a tripod for such shots.

APS-C, Full Frame or MF sensor ( 36mm x48mm & others ) are not so important if you are not a good photographer. Amateur or Pro body does not matter if you don't know how to use it (camera options) creatively. Ask yourself why do I need a Full Frame sensor for the kind of work I do ? All the type of sensors has it's advantages & disadvantages. You have choose the right one for you.

Search Google for - Lens Review. Check 2-3 top sites. See the images taken by that lens. See how many stars it has been given by the site. At last, do you really need that lens ? Sometimes less expensive lens can deliver good results !

The main job of Shutter & Aperture is to control the light getting in your DSLR sensor through the lens.It also minimize or maximize the Depth of Field (DOF) in your image ( background & foreground sharpness control ) You have to decide what effect you want in your final image. Here, manual control is important.

When it comes to god, check the spelling first. Is it God or god ? god have sex organ because there is goddess. God almighty is neither man nor a woman. That is what the religions said.

The image you attached here was shoot in available light. He/She used the window light to lighten up the Bride & Groom. Try to use higher ISO settings in your DSLR ( latest models,of course). Hope you get the result.

Tony, this is what the Tamron official press release said in 2004.
Commack, New York, October 1, 2004 – Mr. Morio Ono, president of Tamron Co., Ltd., Ohmiya, Japan and Mr. Takashi Inoue, president of Tamron USA, Inc. announced the worldwide discontinuation of Bronica SLR cameras and accessories as of October 31, 2004. The Bronica RF645 Medium Format Rangefinder will continue to be distributed globally and Tamron USA, Inc. will offer the current rebates on that product line through 6/30/05.
The Tamron USA website don't have any page for Bronica RF645 also. I guess you are not informed about Bronica. I used a Bronica ETRSi for 8 long years. The photo of the attached ETRSi camera was shot by me.
