Yes, the stars make this picture come alive. Very nicely done.

Nice composition. I would like to see the full colour version.

Outstanding photoshop wizardary and I enjoy the composition as well.

This is an interesting spot just south of the number 3 highway between Bow Island and Seven Persons on the Nemiskam road. Nemiskam is a ghost town which I've been unable to locate. It is somewhere near this spot, but there is very little left so it still eludes me. I always find interesting locals everytime I search for it however. So let the search continue until I've found all the interesting spots in this very historical corner of Alberta.
Anyway, this is an old farm yard which also plays host to the old barn in my last critique request. Hope you enjoy.

Equal parts patience and skill have paid off in spades here. Most would have given up after the rain started. And most would not have waited for the rainbow either. Nicely done.

Good job capturing the moment here. Another second or so and this shot would have been gone forever. Great composition lighting and sky.

'Home' is another interesting little spot. That shack, which is literally no bigger than the average person's garden shack was once someone's home. I sort of took a bit of a glance in there and there is a little bedroom and a small kitchen and that's it. Also, it was clear there was no running water or electricity, or insulation for that matter. Just a single wooden wall to protect against the elements. What sort of life that would have been, enduring -40 winters in that little house? The current occupants are a couple of great horned owls. I got about 5 feet away from it when a massive great horned popped out of the window. I don't know who was more startled. I suspect it was myself. Anyhow, I don't think I'll be able to revisit this location much. Whoever owns the land put the gate back up with a brand new 'No Tresspassing' sign (probably in precaution against hunters as deer season is starting up again).

Technically and aesthetically amazing. 7/7

This is a favourite location of mine. A lovely abandoned 2 story turn
of the century or older homestead and barn. It appears to have never
been conected to electricity or any sort of modern convenience so it
is a location straight from the past.
This will be the first in a series of many. Some are on my hard drive
waiting to be uploaded, and I also plan on returning to this location
for different light, skies and compositions.
Thanks go out to Tye Carnelli for his photoshop wizardary.
Contrast/brightness levels and colour and saturation levels were of my
design, all of the filters were of his.

I love how you have branched out from being almost strictly a landscape photographer. I love viewing scenes from our community through your creative eye. Another success sir.

You've got alot of really nice stuff uploaded here but this one might be my favourite. Terrific lighting on the house.

It's not just your monitor, that's how it was intended. It is rather dark. If it isn't your cup of tea or if the effect I was going for doesn't work for you then it just doesn't.
Thanks for the compliment and thanks for viewing.

You've created great mood with this photo, and it really tells a story. Well done.
