Steve,
No enhancements, other than minor adjustments in Photoshop to color balance, contrast, etc. Thanks for the comment.

Any thoughts appreciated.

The colors are fantastic, and that drop is so sharp - I stare and wait for it to fall. Very lively and energetic photo.

Alexandre,
Yes, it is the sun - I was able to hide it behind enough branches to avoid flare. I shot at 2.8 to make sure it appeared round in the photo. Thanks for your comment.

Taken at dawn, right after a spring rainstorm
-
An early morning fog, the sun, a new day

Beautiful and mysterious - wonderful muted colors, texture, and atmosphere. The single tree with leaves is a good focal point well placed.
-
Taken in late winter, the ducks had returned to find their pond still
partially frozen.

I would maybe try both - cropping get rid of the irregularity, but the you lose the curve of the blurred geese's body mirrored by the curve of the neck in front. Do that and see what looks best. Best Regards!

I know this is not the most impressive shot of lightning ever done,
but I think it's about more than that. Perhaps not very bright on my
part, but I stood my ground as the storm raged over top of me. Rain
hadn't begun to fall yet so I was able to take advantage of the
effects of the wind on the clouds and weeds. The original was in
color, but I converted to black and white as I thought it better
suited the subject and atmosphere. I did get shots with multiple
lightning strikes, but this remains my favorite.

I love this! Its has an epic, mythical feel, that any heroic character would be at home here. Excellent!
-
I agree - would have been a seven in my book except for the band around the leg - cropping above it still makes for a great photograph
-
Stunning!

Thanks all for the comments - much appreciated!
Thomas - no ND filter was used, I lowered the camera bit by bit until I had eliminated flare but still had a good touch of the sun-lit mist. Positioning was limited, too, as this was taken from a small bridge that spans the creek.
Walter - It's Sensia, which of course is the same thing as Provia, just the consumer version. I like the palette and it's cheaper than Provia and I have yet to have any quality issues that would make me feel the need to spend a bit more.

absolutely beautiful - good work!

This is like a dreamscape - love the softness of the snow and the curves, the shadows, the purple sky
-
I like this due to the unexpedtedness of the setting for these birds. A great contrast and represents, no doubt, an interesting story.

great capture - bet it's beautiful uncompressed. The turn of the head and angle of both tail and feather make a very graceful shape -love the pattern of highlights in the background too.

A very cold morning, but worth the freeze.

I was lucky to reach this small lake in time to take advantage of the
brilliant morning colors. The geese were a fortuitous element I
hadn't planned on, but make this shot, IMO.
Frozen Sycamore Branch in Cascade
in Nature
Posted
I happened on this branch on a cold January day, which had fallen
over the small cascade and gotten stuck against the rocks at the
bottom, allowing for the spray to coat it with icicles.
