2 lenses 2 opinion :) 50 mm should help you to isolate the subject from background - but i think your skills and experience are more important then the lens you going to put on camera - so i advise to try both of the lenses and compare the results - that what i do :) <br>regards <br>Jan

i've got 300D(Digital rebel) its takes partly black pictures

recently - i think its a shuter failure but im not sure<br>

I've read Brandon post "how many feets.." i'am wondering if any one

knows why 50mm lenses are called 50mm and 100mm are 100mm?

one think - prime gives you 1 or 2 steps more then zoom that's mean ISO 400 with prime and ISO 800 or 1600 with zoom i've got digital rebel and eighter ISO800 or 1600 on this camera are terible! so ?
