my place was bulgared some time ago,
fortunately police got my staff back :-)
unfortunately my backup camera (30D) and speedlite 420EX is broken :-(
i think they droped it or throwed (30D has broken LCD)
420EX looks fine, it starts, charge, and everything seems to look and work normaly BUT IT DOESN'T FIRE
i think it might be lightball or something (if i'm right is it posible to change it how much that would cost?)
any other ideas what might be broken?
thanks a lot

Andrew - ive got 5d and this lens - and believe me batery grip is something he wants to buy - the lens is very heavy and hold camera using 3 fingers isnt what i like especialy if i have to use dial wheel - its just doesnt feel right without extra grip - i thing 350d make the problem even worse

Hi everyone

I've bought 200mm L two days ago
yester day I tried it and I got some strange results - I mean different then I
expected, especially flare problem I cant shoot against sun - I thought the L
series lenses are the most flare resistant but my copy of 200L was beaten by
consumer zoom canon 75-300

Second thing, Iメm not sure how sharp it should be but I heard that is suppouse
to be very sharp but was significantly beaten by either 100mm macro or 50 f1.4
Barrel distortion?

I will post some examples

thanks for your feedback

no one mention that Is in body wouldn't work with full frame sensors cos pictures would be really blury at the edges isnt it?
-
I think you has already answer your qestion "I'm using it" so i gues you notice that its work as fine above 5.6 as it works At 2.8

special autofocus sensor DO work with all lenses wich the bigger aperture is 2.8 and its doesnt matter wich aperture u use that what really matter is the biggest avalible aperture of any lens

im using 5d - and i dont want to use tc :-) i want 500mm and autofocus
-
Yves i know that i would like this lense but i dont like the price its just too expensive -and to be honest i'd like something bit longer then that 400-500mm for birds and and stars -
-
Jim - not me, im motivated to spent 1000-1500GBP so i gues 2000 is max for me i couldnt justify to bye 3000punds lens just for fun and im sure there is many ppl like me
