Beautiful photo. I particularly like the way the clouds complement the mountains in their shape, while at the same time their textures are very different (soft and fluffy versus sharp and hard).

The scene and the way you've framed it are truly beautiful. I think you're on the right track in simplifying the color, but, to my eye, the blue is too strong. (One of many alternative ways to go about it is above.)

Sexy model, sexy pose, looks good in sepia, and I like the way the model's semi-nude thigh matches up with the crane in the background. Very well-conceived and well-composed photo. I think there may be too much negative space on the left side, though. But consider recropping similar to above.

Terrific! It's a little bit like the optical illusion where the brain goes back and forth between the background and the subject, unable to tell which is which. I love the oversaturated eyeball. I believe (but am not sure) that I would like it slightly better if it were slightly cropped in from the left side. The eye is a bit too close to dead center for my taste.

Striking composition. I know the blue ice is in some ways the point. But B&W (or significantly less saturation might be better. My quick take above.

Subject and composition are interesting and visually pleasing. Looks like harsh stage lighting made this a difficult capture.

I love the photo. I'm less fond of your decision to give it the "poster treatment." The caption is, to me, both distracting and patronizing. It is also limiting, in that the photo may mean something different to someone else. Your image is well-captured and nicely detailed even viewed large. It can stand alone. I'd eliminate the borders and the caption and make a fine art print out of it.
I do not find your subject "trite." Some of the most prized art in the world is of subjects that are often painted or photographed. I do not find a well-done nude or landscape or image of mother-and-child "trite," for example, as it is the artist's interpretation and presentation of the subject that determines whether it is original or not.

Thanks Keith. The drawing-like effect was achieved via a HDR (high dynamic range) tone-mapping application. Some photographers frown on this look. But I like it on certain images.
Good point about the black jacket. I will work on that. But I suspect there is just insufficient data in the digital file to do much about it. The building was not well lit, and the outdoors area in the background was quite bright. THanks for commenting!

I love everything about this image. Congrats!

Terrific facial expression, composition, exposure, sharpness. Love it. The colors seem a tad oversaturated for my tast, as indicated by the very blue highlight on his forehead.

The tassle distracts. To my eye, the above is a better crop.

Love the composition. To my eye, however, the cardinal is too blurry.

One terrific kitty shot. Congrats! (Worthy of a holiday card)
