I like this image very much. I love the way the eyelashes and the two areas of mane hair complement each other. I like the subtle tones around the eye. And the composition itself - the way my eye moves around the image is wonderful. I have only one suggestion: consider a way to make the upper left-hand color less distracting. I'd suggest either cropping slightly differently or blur and desaturate it or something. I think the image would be particularly lovely in just the sandy and black-white-grey tones. The green foliage seems out of place to me. I hope you will work with this idea, because it is a very fine one, I think.

I'm not usually a fan of bird shots. I really like this one. Lovely blurring of background, colors work beautifully together, and it's a tack-sharp capture of a beautiful blue-jay. Really well done. Congrats.

Too cool! - life-size kids among life-size sculpture. And the kid in the cap is particularly cool. I wonder, though, whether there's not a better photo within the photo. Perhaps keep the right-most 60% and crop out the rest (my first choice). Or, alternatively, crop in perhaps 20% from from the left edge.

Terrific image. (One suggestion that I make timidly: color balance seems to be tilted toward red and green, with insufficient blue/cyan. This may be intentional, make the photo appear dreary and smoggy. Personally, I prefer the more neutral palette in the above.)

Great composition. Beautiful bird. To me, though, the white-balance is slightly off and the image slightly underexposed. Is the above a modest enhancement?
