Like i said before im going to bring my Pentax p-30 ( The only reflex i got ... )with a 28-70mm zoom lens and a 300mm ! I got myself tickets in the stands right in front of the ("S" of sena ) it's the biggest chicane of the Gille-Villeneuve circuit so the cars should not be going that fast in this particular area ! But, since im' a Montreal resident i find myself some decent spots around the track WITHOUT FENCES, to try my first Panning experience... An im used to crescent streets events so i'll be there too !

Thanks to everybody who comment it's very helpfull for a beginner like me, hope those works well on my first time ! Anyway if i get one good shot, i think i might i've been succesfull since it is my first time shooting race cars ....

If there is any other comments or tips regarding that type of shots please let me know !

P.S: i was wondering, since you need to shoot at 1/500, 1/1000 Should it be better to got a 400 iso film than 100 or 200 iso ??? if there's anything else to say please let me know !

Hello everyone, im going to take pictures (With my Pentax P-30) at

Montreal's Molson Indy : Champ Car Race event and i was wondering,

since this is my first time shooting "sports" or high speed subject,

what should i bring with me for equipment and if anyone got tips or

tricks regarding that type of photograph ! Thank you very much !
