I agree here. I think the tilt works. But, there is no life to the picture. It needs more light and a better crop. Just a little work in photoshop or whatever program you use could make it much better.

Sarah, First of all, I think your lighting and setting are great. You have picked a beautiful spot for the picture, and you have nice DOF. I don't agree about the crop being too tight, but then again I tend to be a tight cropper. That being said, I do agree about the train-it looks too crumpled up. And,she looks a bit sad and slumped over to me. I agree, though, that you have the right idea going on here and I would keep it up.
