I never stop beeing amazed of how beautiful simplicity can be sometimes... This nude sure wouldn't make high on a originality scale but it's simply beautiful... Lovely lighting, lovely model, maybe the face area is a bit too dark...

Brilliant to see this approach to nudes made also with male models. I read through some comments on PN that we like nudes with details just because they involve women. I consider this to be a great nude and I am not gay so it's not the sexual attraction factor making me appreciate it...

I think that the girl is the one being noticed here ;)
More seriously, I think there are many things that make this photo a good one. The make up, the angle and composition and the lights are worth mentioning without getting into to many details. I am interestingly surprised by the daring title... Keep up the good work...

Undoubtably she is a very beautiful woman but there is also no doubt about the fact that you are very good at underlining her feminine strongpoints. Beautiful in my oppinion...

Well I do give credit to Shay for knowing the theory very well... But I think that what you see doesn't come from the eye only. You also see with your mind. Therefore a darker part of a photo may catch the curiosity of a viewer... In this case, in my opinion, the light makes an excellent contrast with the "poor man" context... This makes for a great composition if you ask me... I do not really agree with the Sahy saying that the eyes must be visible. It is indeed a way of giving impact to a photo but it doesn't have to be a rule. And in this case I don't feel the need to see his eyes as long as his hands do all the talking. Furthermore the title of the photo is "Fly" and in consequence an important part of the accent should have gone on the jar. The fly is an important part of the story in this photo. The composition suggests poverty and loneliness in a great way, making me appreciate this as one great photo. Thanks to Shay for his well argued opinion, it gives the opportunity to debate and improve... Great work from my point of view with this photo, Alloxa.

You certainly have developed a style of your own and it's easily recognizable in my oppinion. I'm glad to see that you can apply interesting ideas within this style. Great picture.

Thanks to Oana for giving me the opportunity to be a small part of
this project. The photo is one from the photo shoots for
www.karakiri.com website. Fell free to critique and offer
suggestions. The aim was to create a warm, cuddly, nice, homey
feeling...
