I like this picture. However, I feel like the debris and the abandoned bldg could have been a photo all by themselves. I only say this because the debris appears interesting enough to me to distract from the bldg and vise-versa. The pic is too sharp for my tastes as well.
Nice capture.

This pic is very cliche', but I now know why. This was a very
peaceful morning (nevermind the cold). I had only wished to catch a
bird in flight when I took this (more cliche'). Your comments.
Thanks!

One of many photos of this structure. There is considerable
construction going on around this monument at the time of this poto
and it is in quite an urban setting. While walking back to my car,
I caught this view which interested me, considering the above facts.

Thanks for the comments. I would have tried the flash, but she was a good 15-20 yards away and I didn't think it would have benefitted me. I was against that Richmond hat, but she insisted on wearing it-thus shadows. I will keep trying.

I finally got her to stand still long enough for me to take this
shot. Comments?

Cute pic! Nicely done. I'm not very technical, but if it looks good, it looks good.

While downtown in DC I came upon this monument. Someone had placed
a flower in the fallen soldier's hand. I decided to snap a couple
of pics. Your thoughts?

I like this. Not certain I am the person to give advice (I'm a novice). However, this is very nice. It leaves me wanting more (of the model of course). I also like that you caught the display on the rear of her camera.

Thanks for the advice and kind words! I will kep trying.

No really intended to be sharp. Wasn't sneaky-it is my wife. I was following her around taking tons of pics that evening at differen't settings and different lighting conditions as she went about her day. This was not really a mistake, but a lucky shot...I wanted it somewhat out of focus for feel. Some turned out horrible, this one was close...
She actually likes it. Not enough detail to identify her, but enough if you know her as I do (she is very conservative). Being my model is not tops on her list, but if I don't interfere with progress, she does't complain too much and she offers her opinions of my work.
Thanks for looking and for your comments. Still trying...
