    Thank you for your comments and advice. This is my first real attempt with our feathered friends and I thought I would start with easy to approach subjects. Think it is going to take a lot of learning and hard work.

    The bird looks a little out of focus to me, Possible a little camera shake.

    Shame spoils what would have been a good shot.

    I like the lighting. As already said unusual composition but it works for me.
