I'm about to purchase a Pentax asahi spotmatic from a secondhand dealer for a good price. In

upcoming weeks I will start a beginner class in film photography. My question is whether this camera

is suitable for a beginner in a phot course.

I enroled for a beginner course in photography last week. I will join

the upcoming classes with my EOS 5000 which I lack the instruction

manual for. Is there is any website or any of you know how to get

this (even in a copy form). According to my tutor the manual is

important if I really want to get much out of my camera. The course

starts next week in London so it's little bit urgent. Any help please!

Have thoughts about buying two 35mm film cameras as a gift

for two of my friends' weddings. Both of them never used a SLR

before but want to start to shoot in B&W. In my search I found a

couple of nice Praktika(it is SLR and is cheap as a secondhand). Can

somebody help me about secondhand Praktika SLRs?. Tried to find info

on the Net but NADA...not much...is it a good camera, how about the

lenses?

There are alots of articles about best suitable films for B&W

photography. What I try to find out is if there is a special camera

or format which is best for B&W film shooting. After months of

reading websites and magazines I still could not find an answer and

even worst really feel confused. I started to take pictures 3 years

ago with my Canon EOS 5000(for Asian market) and want to purchase a

new camera with $700 amount money. Can somebody give me advice

regarding question above. Many thanks

Trying to make my mind whetherever to choose a 35mm Contax N1 or

Contax 645. Since you can use Medium Format's lenses with N1 by a

mount adapter. Is it a good decision to pick 645 for quality images?

Doesn't N1 provide good images as well? Help!
