i don't think that the zoom is faulty...
i've reading that the dim viewfinder is due to the type of focusing screen that this camera have...
the issue about the different exposures at the same f is still a mistery....
thanks

hi everyone
i have a minolta xgm that came with a 50mm lens f2.
then i buyed a 28-70 f3-5/5.6 zoom.
i noticed that metering the same situation with the same f (ie 5.6)
gives different exposures, about 1 o 1.5 points.
is this correct? i think it should give the same exposure at the same f.
another one.
the viewfinder it way too dark with the zoom... at first i thought
this was normal because of the zoom luminosity... but in other cameras
this does not happen with zooms as luminous as mine. can this be enhanced?
hope i explain myself.
thanks.

i tried healing brush and cloning but i don't like results.
i think i'll try replacing the sky...
thanks

hi.
i developed a film badly, and most of the copias has a strange texture
in the skies.
i upload a copy for you to see.
is there a good digital tool to enhance this?
thanks!

thanks everyone for the answers!
several people used the developer before me, so the exhaustion of it maybe the problem... i didn't know this could cause this kind of distortion.
thanks again.

hi everyone.
i recently developed a film, then made some copies and discovered
strange stains on them, then looking deeply in the negatives, they
were also there as well.
i uploaded some for you to see. watch them in the skies.
i want to know why did this happened and how can i avoid it in the
future, also, if this could be disminished with contrast filters or
other thing in the copy process.
minolta XGM focusing screen question
in Sony/Minolta
Posted
hi everyone.
i posted something similar to this a time ago... i've been
investigating in the web and got nothing...
i have a minolta XGM which originally comes with a 50mm f/2 lens.
i then buyed a used 28-70 3.5/5.6 zoom.
the problem is that the viewfinder became too dark with this lens.
i've been reading articles that this camera supports different types
of focusing screens, what i need to know is if changing the screen
would improve the situation or if there's a more suitable screen for
this kind of lens.
i currently have a horizontal split with microprism screen.
thanks.
