Nice pictures. Where did you go, Yee?
-
I recently bought a 40mm Rokkor for $265. You should be able to get one around $240-280 easily. It's a really nice lens at a good price. The field of view is about 1-2 framelines smaller than the 35mm frameline on a .72 M6.
I've used the 40mm Nokton too and it's a fine lens. The bokeh at f1.4, at close-focus IS, repeat, IS, quite ugly. But stopped down to f2 or f2.8 the bokeh is pleasing. I'd use it as a f/2 lens with an extra stop "just in case". It is a little bit more expensive and is a little bit bigger than the rokkor.
You can't go wrong with either lens.

Wide, fast and small? 40mm Cron/Rokkor or 35mm Cron.

Oh, yeah. Thx!

For those who are interested in technology, check this out. It's a new computer user interface that is
similar to the one in the movie "Minority Report".
<p>
Be patient. You'll see the clip after the BMW advertisement.

Enjoy,

Good use of color, Chris.

I wonder if this is a lens problem or a proble with the lighting inside the church. It seems to
me that the church is not evenly lit. The center of the church is brighter, so maybe that's why
you get this "vignetting" effect.

I like the first one. Thx.

Stuart,
I had this problem before. I logged in to the new forum using my old account and it didn't
work. I ended up registering a new account and everything works.

The new D-lux is appealing to me. I have been looking for a compact digi cam with good low
light capability. I hope it has a short shutter lag too, because it is the only thing that stop be
from buying a digital camera.
