Especially at large gigs, like this arena one, I like to get some
sense of what's going on in the crowd. I like this photo because
there's a quite static central subject with movement around it, and
the interesting mask/camera/flag combination.

Not a typical concert shot, but I like the colours and the focus is
pretty good. Critiques most welcome!

This was a very challenging gig to shoot - there was no photo pit so
I was forced to shoot from a static position. I'm interested, as
ever, in thoughts and feedback.
Thanks in advance.

I love the energy, but the overexposure/motion of the hands doesn't work for me and detracts from the face and eyes - the most expressive and important part of the picture.
-
Doesn't quite work for me. You're losing too much of the front face. It's "nearly" there.

A favourite concert shot from the NME Awards Tour in Birmingham. I'd
appreciate constructive comments and feedback.

I agree with the previous comment about how close the edge is to the left elbow, but I'd crop tighter on the top and right to equalise it.
-
It's a really nice shot - for it to be "perfect" I guess Scott would be a little bit to the right (totally blocking the light that's blowing out his left arm and would be looking to his left so you get more of an equal profile-twisting towards rather away from the camera.

Hi Neil - fancy seeing you here. It's a beautifully framed shot, my only thought is that if it was "down and left" by 5-10% you'd have Slash more as a pillar, filling the side rather than floating a little bit in air.
If that makes sense?

This is my favourite from a recent concert shoot. Shot on Canon
10D@ISO800.
My first stab at photo.net and I'd appreciate constructive comments
and feedback.
