krash 0 Posted February 8, 2005 That is what you captured, the raw emotion he is putting into his words and music. Composition is good, I have shot bands live before, I kdnow how tough it can be to get a great shot, good ones yeah you can get those but not too many great ones and this is a great one. I like the movement in the hands, it adds a lot to the image for me, helps bring out more of his energy. Well done. Link to comment
simon_white2 0 Posted February 8, 2005 I love the energy, but the overexposure/motion of the hands doesn't work for me and detracts from the face and eyes - the most expressive and important part of the picture. Link to comment
bbilly1 0 Posted February 8, 2005 I agree with you that this one could be much better if the greyscale would be balanced. I didn't anounced that I shot this with 25 years old Minolta XD 7; so the measurment of the lightning isn't as much perfect as it could be. And there's another fact; weak lighning, and use of pushed negativ from 400 ASA to 1600 ASA. I think you see that for this circumstances resultes are good. And here's another version for some people. krash 0 Posted February 16, 2005 you have to consider the conditions, for what you had to do, where you had to do it this image was great as it was. Link to comment
