Maybe I am the only one liking the "light" on the wall behind the flower :) I gladly confess that I really like it because in my opinion it gives life to the background. A little harshness/coldness against the poetry of the flower... This has been taken in the window, in natural light. And yes, it w a s quite fragile - my cat ruined it quite easyly... she found it interesting when she landed to my home... :-) I insert here an other pic wihout the "glow"...

Simply: b e a u t i f u l ! The grey feathers are delicate. I would like this even without the head :) but of course the red colour and the head make a good composition ... Silly question - is this one and only bird, or are there two....? :) I don't know the birds so well..;-)

Hi all of you - back to "business" after a while :)

First I have to say, I am happy there is someone noticing the airplane trail, because I myself liked it so much, as the line was so much the same, as the street line =) The plane was still flying when I took the picture.

 

I have been told from Denmark (your colleague) that you can find information from these buildings from Finish architecture periodical called 'Arkkitehti' (January 2003 issue). You had a good eye, these are the buildings of Oulu University, School of Architecture, wich was build after the 1. prize in a open design competition, in 2000. And last, but not least my daughter is studying there, too =)) Happy to see you here again =)

Hi Christian, I think that this and the Model #14 are the most beautiful pics in your 'portraits' folder. Good black and whites, good compositions and a beautiful model.

My first thought when the pic opened, how happy the pic looks. - And then I noticed the name of it "Off Duty"... Maybe that is the reason for happines =) So I like this. The composition, colours and easy-going atmosphere...

Yes, I like this, too. The old bicycle alone, is already very picturesque.

I have seen this couple of times and maybe I now tell it to you, too =) I like this. And I like that the yellow thing is like a lemon, so a little while you think how surreal this is =)
