Hi I just forgot to mention that the picture that I left with my critique was shot in rome and that I asked the mother if I could take their picture, she was still sitting down, she said yes so I gave them money, she laid down on the ground and I took the picture, this was the result. Make sure to look at the picture
Happy shooting

Hi
I really enjoy the concept of your picture but I feel as though the angle and attitude of your shot is not up to the standards of the situation at hand. I don't know what happened before and after this picture was taken and it is very very difficult to aproach a situation like this one but next time you come upon a situation like this one try to step out of your comfort zone and walk up to the person and ask them if you can take their picture. I understand the anguish that comes with doing something like that but imagine if you could have had this woman facing you, it feels as though not enough is being said here.
A good picture none the less
Happy shooting

THis shot is really really good,
I think though, that the four men in the back ground should be burned in a bit because their overbaring darkness (as a large dark mass) takes my eyes away from the men at the table
Good job
If you decide to do this post it up here.

THis shot was taken with a 50mm lens therfore distance is pretty
much what you see. Very stressfull moment in my life. I'm moving on
to afganistan next!
What do you think?

Your lighting is magnificent the focus is razor sharp great black BG but! I think I would move the camera wither slightly to the left or right to unframe the shot a bit. I would do this because right now I feel as though The shot is just a bit too tight. If you were to scew your camera a bit at least one of the outer petals would be fully in the shot thus creating a bit more depth to your shot. Overall the shot is really fantastic
What kind of lens were you using?
Just my 2 cents

Hi
I think your shot is really quite stunning. This picture is worth way more than a thousand words. The shoes at the bottom are so telling. I would possibly add a tiny bit of contrast to the background though. Not to take away from the main subject but either that or somehow make the sky (or lack of it) a bit more dramatic. What do you think?
Great Job!

Thsi is an absolutely stunning shot. The Lighting is key, the continuous rock formations are perfectly angled by you. Did you alter or Post Process the shot at all? what kind of lens were you shooting with? What speed, aperature. I generally am not moved by stuff withought a soul (IE: rocks and moss) but you gave this waterfall a soul and it is greatfull to you for it!
Cheers!

I would love to see more of your pictures

Either a very very large church or a very very wide angle.
