No cropping is necessary, I like the foregroung details. On the other side this beatiful shot can be cropped in many ways with different feelings. Can easily adapt to an horizontal cropping or even a more tight vertical cropping. I would love to have a shot like this to play with.
Viewing it larger is of course better, but I stopped uploading a larger version because it penalize too much the standard view compressed by PN. ... and most of the viewer do not bother to enlarge it anyway.

I like your imagined story behind the picture. Your nice photo supports it very well. I think you can correct a little bit the distorsion in perspective with Photoshop.

Ben, thank you. The manipulation for a bigger moon is intentional. I tried to recreate the athmosphere of a dreamlike drive. How many time did we said, during a drive in a beautifull full moon night, " The moon looks bigger tonight!" ?
I will try a little more cropping at the bottom.

I like it more with a little grain, printed large would look great in my opinion. Very nice combination of B&W and "Hopper" look. -
