I've been away for a long time. Haven't had much interest in shooting but lately I have woe kn up a bit & found some motivation to shoot a bit again. Here's a shot with the K-5 & 50-135 f/2.8 from the MN Landscape Arboretum. 1/800s, f/2.8, ISO 100

Where to go? What to see? Too much...
For starters... North Seoul Tower (at night preferably), Myeongdong, Jeju Island, the DMZ, just walk around Seoul, any of the markets... plenty to do & see.

Two similar incidents for me. First one almost identical to yours. Strap let go, bag fell from my shoulder onto concrete floor. Didn't notice anything for a while but basically the I had the same issue with my 16-50. It wouldn't zoom any tighter than roughly 28mm. AE-L button on the K10D broken. Didn't notice that for months because it never gets used. Insurance claim for the lens... if I remember correctly it cost around $200 CDN to repair... didn't bother with the camera.
Second time... K-5 with the same repaired lens rolled off the car seat in a panic stop. Camera fine. Same damage to the lens. It's been more than a year. Haven't had it repaired yet... don't know if I will.
Insurance is cheap & well worth it for me.

Dumb question for Marc... it doesn't look like the truck in question was working... did you ask him to move?

What is your white balance in each photo?

IMO, I don't think $300 to $500 seems fair. Not fair to yourself for your time or fair to someone who's business you would be taking away.

The lens shade is built in. I think the "threads" that you see are just for aesthetics.

I like that the flashes are WR & that the 360 swivels. Not too much interest in the lenses yet. My lineup is pretty full. Just missing that 70-210 f/2.8.
JDM - the Pentax name does live on. All the flashes & lenses are still labeled "PENTAX".

What lens would you be using those filters on? 37mm is pretty small.
I only use circular polarizers, neutral grads & very rarely some split nd's.

Bob - I love that bear. Wonderful.
We went looking an albino doe on St. Joe's Island last week. We found it but this fawn was much more photogenic.
