Too much contrast, dark and highlights, out of focus.

I think a different composition would have worked better. I'd like to see more of the transparent pool and less of the dark foreground. 4/5

The weather didn't cooperate, as it look just like a common road, and I also think it would have looked better if you had "followed the road" into the distance. Maybe/maybe not including some of the surrounding scenery could have emphasized the "roman road" theme. 4/3
