Quite an original work, turning a potentially ordinary subject into a somewhat surrealist creation. Well done.

The unusual sky and shape of the rocky hill almost turns this into an abstract, really nice. The lighting looks a bit too harsh though, perhaps worth trying to shoot again for instance before sunset or at dawn. Cheers.

Nice composition, without the lamp almost an abstract. Only one thing bothering a little that is the bottom of the columns looking a bit too bright and thus becoming somewhat distracting. Cheers!

The contrast of colours is very impressive and the centered subjects in the composition works well. Cheers.

Aesthetically speaking this photo is a delight to any eye. The warm hues are fabulous. Cheers!

Ciao Luca, thanks! Yes it looks posed and it actually was a posed shot by my girlfriend. This street in particular didn't have cars because it's just so narrow it would be impossible for a normal car to circulate on it. Most towns in Portugal have the historical centre closed to cars, so maybe that's why I get lucky with that. But more often than not I get crazy with cars always in the way ruining so many good photos!

Thanks for your comment Jennifer. You're right when you say these aren't the most interesting subjects I could have got here, but in this case it wasn't possible for me to wait long pointing the camera, just a few seconds actually, as the guys who use to hang out in this street are all immigrants (illegal) and thus with a natural fear of being photographed. Protests against me and my camera quickly started arising and I ended up staying there over 20min chatting with a couple of them to assure them I wasn't going to use their photos for anything that might prejudice them.

Very interesting abstract. It gets somewhat fascinating trying to figure out what's going on here.

Very nice, honest portrait. Feels really alive which I think is so important in a portrait (and difficult to get!). Cheers!
