No problem Laura, I didn't think you were being defensive at all. Anyway, I looked at the original shot and I think it looks really nice too. I did live in Germany for about 7 years. Wonderful experience. Hopefully I can experience the Danube at least once in my lifetime. Anyhow, I'm looking forward to seeing more of your photography from this area. Best regards............

Thanks for the explaination, now I understand your vision, the way you saw this scene and your mind-set in displaying this image. I think the green color is natural and looks fine. Perhaps (but only in my opinion) the dark tree and bush could have been framed better or that maybe you could have taken a step backward to include more of the tree and bush. To me they seem like afterthoughts. Anyway, I'm not putting down your picture in any way, just offering constructive criticism, that's how we all get better. I've only read about the Danube in books long ago. I can image that it provides great landscape photographic opportunities.

Not a bad shot but could be a lot better without the dark tree trunk on the right and the bush on the bottom left. They take away from an otherwise nice photo. Keep shooting..........best regards!!

I would crop about two third's of the sky for better composotion.....good work!

I agree with Andrew.......the darkness on the left side reduces the impact of an otherwise nice capture!

The top right of the picture takes away from this shot. The capture of the water, moss and rock is excellent, however, I feel that if you were to perhaps capture this scene at a different angle or perhaps burn-in the highlighted area it would be a true winner. This is still a very nice capture!

I think you did a nice job....the lighting is good, the composition is nice, the model is pretty and has a nice expression. Is she too close to the backdrop perhaps?
