Mitch,
Hope you'll share your thoughts---and photographs---with us upon your return.
Best wishes,

It seems to me that HCB couldn't get over his youthful days studying painting with Lhote. Contrary to what he THOUGHT he should be he was a superb photographer but an average "sketcher"
like so many on this forum... it galled him to not excel as who he wished to be rather than who he was.

Hi Luke,
Congrats on your upcoming Brooks adventure.
I echo those who suggest you contact the school and / or current students to answer your Q's. Most on this site (me included) really don't know.
I DO know however, that it's "Brooks", not "Brook's"
You may consider that nit-picking. Well, I went to Brooks and believe me, nit picking-wise, you ain't seen nothin' yet.
Best wishes,
Joe Walsh

Al, I'd guess you remember Phil Levine's from your Boston days. Or Camera Enterprises on Mass Ave

Neither troll nor rant.
Most of us have been or will be in a similar place, Jorge. I recommend Ted Orland's "Fear and Art"
HC-B in a movie?

I was watching "Is Paris Burning?" tonight. It's a feature film about
the last days of WWII but also has a lot of authentic newsreel footage
interspersed.
About ten minutes from the end there is documentary footage of General
DeGaulle at the Arc de Triumph. A photographer is shown about 15 feet
to his left (screen right) I think it's Bresson. I do know he was
there during the liberation of Paris.
Does anyone know if this is HC-B?
