A good scenic picture, it could make a nice 4x4 commercial advertising. I like the road leading into the mountains and the inclusion of the vehicle, which many people keep out of the frame when shooting.

    Hello, simina.

I am rather picky, but I have to note that the picture is left-tilted in some degree(s). Very nice, though, esp. the contrast between sky, architecture and water. It is Marrakech, right?

    Salam youssef.

I find the framing a little tight, and the picture could have a bit more contrast. Anyway this is a lovely picture, the happy expression of these people is priceless.

Not a bad idea, but the picture looks too flat for me, the composition is very static and the piano keys are hardly recognizable. You could improve it with a diagonal composition (as a starting point), a bit more contrast or a higher point of view. I hope that my comment is useful.

Very nice job, Radu. I like the composition with the dark corner at the upper left and the opposite grass patch, which make the picture more than just a bunch of coloured trees.

Out of focus areas give a mood (more dynamic?) that works for me. I think a vertical orientation would be better for this shot, though. Regards

Beautiful portrait, Bade. I would prefer a little more room in the direction of her look (top right), but that is just a minor tweak.
  2. I like the use of shallow DOF to draw the eye to the flower, the sharpness of the flower contrasting with the texture of the wall, and the BW conversion and toning. I think that placing the flower more to the right (so it were not over the tower) would be a better choice, but I'm unsure about that. A portrait orientation could be worth a try, too.
  3. Difficult composition having many centered elements, but not bad at all. I like very much the lighting at the distant mountains, and these dark clouds on top. They really give a depth feeling to my eye which walks through the valley and the slopes.

I find unlucky the placement of the tree against the shadowed ground behind it. I think it will be better placed a little to the right and top. In this way the contrast with the background would be more effective.

Maybe a little too much sky in the top, which somehow unbalances with the lack of bottom foreground. In every other respect, a beautiful pic.

BTW, your portfolio is really impressive.

This is an outstanding picture, I don't know what I like the most, as composition, colours, mood, etc. are just wonderful. I would have placed the horizon higher, but now I can see that your choice is far better. Keeping the central third gives a wonderful panorama.

I find it better a bit clockwise rotated (about 1 deg.). I don't know if it is a true slope, though, or my eyes' fault.

Ok, the sea and the cliff are well captured (maybe losing some at top left?). Seeing that amount of empty space at left is unusual, but worth of thinking about. You get a nice view if you crop to get 1/3 of sea and 2/3 of cliff, but in this way I miss the horizontal feeling of the picture and that strange concentrical shape of the ripples. The lack of known-size elements gives a bizarre mood, as if this were another planet or an artificial 3-D image.

I wonder if the figure at the top of the cliffs works in another way (I do think so) when viewed in a really huge version.

For Allan: these layers are true sedimentation layers, althought perhaps not in a year-by-year basis, but in more long terms.
